I hope no one takes away Spencer's sensitivity. We need more of this and less of the callousness people have developed.

Yo Linh,

Terrific how you showcase Philly kids art like Spencer's (15) and Christina's (16), and in addition, a couple days ago, Al Perry's rough and truthful hand sketch of President Obama's getting palm greased. On Blogspot, you consistently present REAL PEOPLE art, and never make it bow to Merry money-sucker needs, Bohemian Forest bonfires, patriotic badge and taser.

Anyway, I'll tell you a little work story?
Last Winter, exhausted and disgusted fellow environmental Field Technicians, while inside the shop, dared to carve a blasphemous sketch of our Company's sacred logo upon a wood work table. The colorful sketch featured a swastika, flame, and devil horns. Corporate officials saw the drawing, and naturally, a manhunt ensued for the artist. As search for the “perp” continued, and as word circulated that I agreed with the drawing's essential meaning, come March 4, 2014, I got suede jack boot out-the-door! I suppose slaves on plantations and American Indians (oops.. I meant to say Original Peoples!) on reservations might have done similar sketches?

You're # 1 atop my anti-NCAA Dust Bowl poll for elevating “little peoples” healthy and plain spoken art into rogue vogue. Keep such simple photos coming, they put painful crimps into dark corporate “masterpieces,” which include diabolical enducement of pain and neo-enslavement upon kids like Spencer, Christina, and the comical card-man, Al Perry. Thank you!
